'Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin' full trailer is out!

The excitement is so high for 'Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin', an upcoming teleserye on ABS-CBN.

Initially planned to premiere last February 14, 'Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin' is finally airing this March 7 on the network's Primetime Bida block.

The full official trailer of the new soap has been revealed earlier and it looks so exciting.

I was so surprised to see Kapamilya leading ladies Kim Chiu and Erich Gonzales having special roles in 'Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin'.

Kim plays for the first time a contravida role, as young Lorna Tolentino, while Erich is the young Amy Austria.

Aside from Kim and Erich, also doing a special participation are Albert Martinez, Agot Isidro and Xian Lim (as young John Estrada).

The trailer has also revealed that Coco Martin is portraying dual roles or should I say, award-winning roles, as Alexander and Javier.

Having two "Coco Martin" in 'Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin' is just one of the many things for the Kapamilya viewers to get excited with.

Playing leading ladies to Coco are Maja Salvador and Andi Eigenmann.

METRO Magazine has once again picked the best-bodied celebrities, as featured on its January 2011 issue with Megan Young and Benjamin Tang on the cover.

They are those celebrities who according to METRO Magazine have the most beautiful bodies or those who best define the new sexy.

Oh yeah, after Dingdong Dantes and Tom Rodriguez, mukhang naka-iskor na naman si Eugene sa isang yummy hunk, this time it's Diether Ocampo! Look!

Eugene and Diether are the lead stars of Regal Films' "Mamarazzi".

It also stars Carla Abellana, Andi Eigenmann, JC Tiuseco, Ahron Villaflor, Xian Lim, AJ Perez, Carl Guevarra, Lucho Ayala and John Lapus.

Directed by Joel Lamangan, "Mamarazzi" is showing on August 25.

6th Cinemalaya (2010) official entries | Line-Up of Finalists

The cast of "Rekrut"

The 6th Cinemalaya Philippine Independent Film Festival will be held this coming July 9-18, 2010 at the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP).

There are 5 films competing under Director's Showcase category, which consists of masterpieces by well-known directors like Joel Lamangan, Mario O'Hara, Mark Meily, Joselito Altarejos and Gil Portes.

Nine (9) films compete in the Full-Length category, which are directed by new breed but very promising filmmakers.

The Short Films category meanwhile has 10 entries.

I have two early favorite Cinemalaya entries this year: "Rekrut", which I already featured here last April and "Two Funerals" which features Xian Lim.

Xian Lim, Garage Magazine, June / July 2010

Xian Lim is a Louis Vitton hottie on Garage Magazine's June to July 2010 issue.

And who's the other guy? He may not be as popular as Xian, but he
should be named at least. (He's Georges Alves, a Brazilian model. We named him inside. ~ Rey Ilagan, Garage EIC)

They're both wearing yellow, which probably their way of embracing the
new Philippine President. Kris Aquino should grab a copy of this.

Next month's issue is actually Garage Magazine's Back-to-School edition. (Now I miss my school days!)

It's Xian's 2nd time on a magazine cover. The first was with Enchong
Dee and Ejay Falcon on Chalk Mag's Dec09 issue. On TV, he's currently
seen on "Rubi" and "Agimat Presents: Elias Paniki".

Chalk's 75 Hottest Guys for 2009

Chalk Magazine has once again come up with a list of the hottest guys of different sort!

Unlike the usual "50 Hottest Guys" list in the previous years, Chalk's list for 2009 has 25 more hotties to make it 75.

Leading Chalk's 75 Hottest Guys for 2009 are the lovable hunks from "Katorse": Xian Lim, Enchong Dee and Ejay Falcon.

It's the first time that more than one guy is covering up Chalk's annual "hottest guys" issue.

Past cover boys of the said special issue of Chalk were Dingdong Dantes (2008) , Jake Cuenca in 2007, Dennis Trillo back in 2006 and Sam Milby in 2005.

Xian Lim as Twilight's Edward Cullen

MYKIRU'S FIRST CATCH

"Katorse" star Xian Lim is Edward Cullen for a day in the Twilight/New Moon-inspired feature of Manila Bulletin.

It was published in the E-1 section of Manila Bulletin last Wednesday, October 28, 2009 and the feature was entitled "In the Twilight Hour".

Joining Xian there are actress Bettina Carlos as Bella Swan and model Bryan Foronda as Jacob Black.

The pictorial was done at the UP MassCom Pavillion.
