Anne Curtis hits 1 million Twitter followers!

Anne Curtis' followers on Twitter has now reached 1 million, becoming the first from the Philippines to reach the million mark.

Anne Curtis, who is an active Twitter user since March 2009, now has 1,003,302 followers on Twitter as of 2PM today, April 29, and Anne Curtis is ranked 388th worldwide, according to Twittercounter.com.

She is even ranked higher than Victoria Beckham and Leonardo DiCaprio.

Anne is also the only one from the Philippines to enter the Top 500 list of Twitter users with the most followers.

Iya Villania for Tanduay First 5 2011 TVC | Concert tour begins in Palawan on March 25 | See full schedule!

Iya Villania, as Tanduay Rhum endorser and Calendar Girl for 2011, is helping promote the Tanduay First Five 2011 Nationwide Concert.

Iya graced the "First 5" presscon last week and also appears in the promo TVC.

It's now the 3rd year of Tanduay's First Five Concert Tour still featuring 5 of the hottest rock bands in the country.

From March to December, Tanduay will bring its First 5 concert to more than 30 cities and provinces, starting in Palawan on March 25.

Featured bands are Parokya Ni Edgar, Kamikazee, Sandwich, Chicosci and Wolfgang.

Iya will also be joining the First 5 tour in some places.

Angelica Panganiban leads Hottest Babes Poll for January 2011

Angelica Panganiban is on top of 19 other babes on January 2011's Hottest Babes Poll conducted here on Mykiru from February 9 to 14.

Angelica got 12.21% of the total votes, followed by KC Concepcion with 10.39% and Solenn Heussaff with 10.13%.

'Martha Cecilia's Kristine' ends with no Emerald (Denise Laurel)

'Martha Cecilia's Kristine', the hottest teleserye to hit Philippine primetime, just had its finale tonight on ABS-CBN.

It was quite a typical finale: the conflicts were resolved, the main villain (Margarita played by Irma Adlawan) died and a happy ending for all the main characters.

The finale didn't end up with a wedding not like the other typical Pinoy soaps. It actually wrapped up with a birthday party of Baby Leonard, son of Jewel (Cristine Reyes) and Bernard (Zanjoe Marudo).

Jewel, who's pregnant of her 2nd child, was narrating what happened to the other characters: Diana (Bangs Garcia) has found a new love (Jose Sarasola), Nathaniel (JM De Guzman) is engaged to marry Jasmine (Kristel Moreno) and Marco (Rafael Rosell) finally ended up with Scarlet (Iya Villania).

'Kristine' viewers generally loved the ending, but for some, it was a big disappointment.

Yeah, I'm one of those disappointed 'coz Emerald (Denise Laurel) was totally scrapped off from the story.

In Book 1, Emerald left for the States to study and promised to come back but as Book 2 ended tonight, there was not a single mention about her.

I hate it how they made "paasa". They didn't even make a confirmation that Denise is not comin' back in the show, did they?

Even Denise's manager, Arnold Vegafria, did not directly say in an interview before that Denise would no longer be part of the show.

Denise, Rafael and the rest of the cast also kept mum about it.

On Twitter, some avid viewers of Kristine have also aired their disappointment with the ending.

Cristine Reyes, Zanjoe Marudo in hot pictorial for "Kristine Book 2"

Cristine Reyes, Zanjoe Marudo and the rest of "Kristine" main cast had their hot pictorial yesterday for the Book 2 of the said ABS-CBN TV
series.

In Book 1, we saw Cristine Reyes, Zanjoe Marudo, Rafael Rosell and Denise Laurel together in their pictorial, but for the Book 2 photoshoot, Denise is no longer with them.

They're now joined by Rayver Cruz and JM De Guzman plus the three ladies who have just been introduced in Kristine Book 2 such as Iya
Villania, Bangs Garcia and Kristel Moreno.

The pictorial happened Sunday afternoon and reportedly, it was during that time when Cristine Reyes learned from someone about what Sarah Geronimo said during ASAP XV rehearsals held in the morning.

Sarah allegedly told John Prats, "Pag magagaling magsayaw, habulin ng
mga babaeng sexy," which was interpreted by Cristine as a "parinig" to her.

After the pictorial, Cristine Reyes logged on to her official Twitter account and posted negative remarks against Sarah Geronimo in no less

Iya Villania joins cast of "Kristine" as Rafael Rosell's new leading lady | Is she replacing Denise Laurel?

The alluring Iya Villania has already showed up on last night's episode of Martha Cecilia's Kristine: Ang Ikalawang Yugto on ABS-CBN as the new leading lady of Rafael Rosell.

As I've said in my previous post, Iya is among the new characters in the soap, along with Bangs Garcia, Joross Gamboa and Kristel Moreno who were already introduced ahead of Iya.

It's a different Iya that we're going to see on "Kristine" as she plays Scarlet, who for sure will capture the heart of Marco De Silva (Rafael Rosell), who's healing a broken heart after Emerald (Denise Laurel) left him and went to the US.

From what we saw last night, Marco met Scarlet on the road to Paso de Blas, the same way he met Emerald before.

Does this mean goodbye already for the character of Emerald?

For sure the Rafnise fans are much more worried now. They've been worried since rumor broke out that Denise is pregnant.

Another rumor says that Denise reportedly refused to do some of her sexy scenes with Rafael, so it resulted to her character being scrapped off.

Rafael meanwhile advised the worried fans on Twitter to just move on after this new development, "All we can do is move on. Wala rin makukumpleto na trabaho kaya di din magmomove on...Kaya best advice ko sa inyo is to do the same and trust in His plan for us na lang. Lahat may dahilan. Marerealize din natin yan pagdating ng panahon. It's sad...Pero don't let the sadness bring you down...Smile :) because there is still a lot of love to be persued sa Kristine."

On one hand, Denise was also caught posting a tweet about her return in "Kristine": "It's not my call if I go back or not. I'm not a big boss. :) There are a lot of things that go on behind a production in time maybe you guys will understand."

Sounds like the production team indeed purposely gave Marco-Emerald a break.

As a worried fan myself, I got the chance to ask someone behind the production of "Kristine" if it's true that Denise will no longer come back in the show and he simply said, "Babalik pa siya."

Oh okay! I hope he's not kidding 'coz the fans of "Kristine" really want Emerald back.

Iya Villania poses sexy as Tanduay Rhum 2011 Calendar Girl

TV host-actress Iya Villania shed off her wholesome image as she posed sexy for Tanduay Rhum 2011 Calendar.

Wearing 6 different swimsuits, Iya is photographed also in various
shots and poses for the 2011 calendar.

Her poses are actually not so provocative but the Aussie-raised
Filipino is so seductive, saucy hot, sexy and very classy.
Did I miss any adjective to describe her?

And the very fact that Iya is showing lots of skin for the first time,
her Tanduay Rhum 2011 Calendar definitely would leave many jaws dropping for her.

Expect a lot more daring Iya Villania in 2011. An FHM cover perhaps would be next for her.

ASAP XV holds "Miss Universe" pageant | Kanto Boys does Bieber

ABS-CBN's ASAP XV had a very funny episode today, August 15, 2010, when it held its own Miss Universe pageant.

The exotic Miss Kenya Melai Cantiveros was extremely...funny! And the other girls as well...such as: Pokwang as Miss Nepal, Cristine Reyes as Miss Chile, Nikki Gil as Miss Philippines, Sitti as Miss Ghana, Shaina Magdayao as Miss Hungary, Iya Villania as Miss Egypt, Karylle as Miss Russia and Anne Curtis as Miss Venezuela.

I super loved it!

In the same episode, the Kanto Boys did a medley of Justin Bieber songs. And they even imitated Bieber's hair. Hilarious number! Because of that, "Kanto Boys" at one point was #4 trending topic on Twitter.
