Uncensored film festival at UP

The UP College of Mass Communication and the UP-CMC Alumni Association will hold a three-day film festival entitled Director’s Cut: Mga Eksenang Dapat Mong Nakita Pero... on March 5-7, 2008 at the Cine Adarna, UP Film Institute, UP Diliman.

As the title goes, the special event will feature the uncut and uncensored versions of controversial movies that have been censored by the MTRCB in the past.

Here's the complete line-up of films to be shown on the said Director's Cut Festival:

MARCH 5

4:00 PM Bakit May Kahapon Pa? by Joel Lamangan, Starring Nora Aunor, Dawn Zulueta and Eddie Garcia

7:30 PM Laman by Maryo J. Delos Reyes, Starring Albert Martinez, Yul Servo and Elizabeth Oropesa.

MARCH 6

3:00 PM Duda by Crisaldo Pablo, Starring Andoy Ranay, Paulo Gabrial and John Lapus.

5:00 PM Rome and Juliet by Connie Macatuno, Starring Mylene Dizon, Andrea del Rosario and Rafael Rosell.

7:00 PM Twilight Dancers by Mel Chionglo, Starring Tyrone Perez, Allen Dizon and Cherry Pie Picache.

MARCH 7

3:00 PM La Vida Rosa by Chito Roño, Starring Rosanna Roces, Diether Ocampo and Jiro Manio.

5:00 PM Tuhog by Jeffrey Jeturian, Starring Ina Raymundo, Klaudia Koronel and Jaclyn Jose.

7:00 PM Live Show by Jose Javier Reyes, Starring Ana Capri, Paolo Rivero and Klaudia Koronel.
