Panagbenga Festival or Baguio Flower Festival 2011: Kapamilya and Kapuso mall shows back-to-back this weekend

Kapamilya stars graced Panagbenga Festival 2011 or Baguio's Flower Festival yesterday afternoon, February 26, via a mall show at SM Baguio.

The Kapamilya Caravan at the Panagbenga Festival featured "Sabel" stars Jessy Mendiola, Joseph Marco and Diether Ocampo as well as Melissa Ricks and Matt Evans, stars of the upcoming ABS-CBN soap "Nasaan Ka Elisa?"

And for today, Feb. 27, it's Kapuso stars' turn to celebrate with the
people in Baguio.

"Machete" stars Aljur Abrenica, Ryza Cenon and Bela Padilla and the cast of "Nita Negrita" Barbie Forteza, Joshua Dionisio and Lexi Fernandez will be in SM Baguio at 4 PM for the Kapuso Caravan.

SM Baguio is definitely the most crowded place there lately due to the
presence of some celebs. Last Friday, the Azkals were also at SM Baguio for their meet-and-greet with the fans, and yesterday, people
were delighted to see the team having their lunch there.

The Panagbenga Festival 2011 opened last February 1 and officially ends on March 6.

Two of its highlights are the Grand Street Parade which already
happened yesterday and the Grand Floats Parade which is happening today.

'Green Rose', 'The Price Is Right' & 'Happy Yipee Yehey!' pilot episodes fail to shake up ratings in Mega Manila

'Green Rose' and 'The Price is Right' were the two ABS-CBN shows which aired its pilot episodes last night, but both failed to impress in Mega Manila ratings.

'Green Rose', which is a Philippine remake of a Koreanovela and stars Jericho Rosales and Anne Curtis, scored a pilot rating of 7.1% while 'The Price Is Right', hosted by Kris Aquino, marked 4.5% debut rating, according to the figures released by AGB Nielsen via Pep.ph.

Both pilot ratings unfortunately failed to beat competitions and didn't even rank in the Top 10 Highest-Rated Primetime Programs last night.

Meanwhile, GMA's "Nita Negrita" with Barbie Forteza in the title role also premiered on the afternoon the same day with a high 7.8% rating, ranking 4th in the Top 10 Daytime Programs.

Willie Revillame, who hosts "Willing Willie" on TV5, is probably the happiest to hear that the ABS-CBN's new noontime show "Happy Yipee Yehey" didn't score high ratings on its first Saturday and Monday episodes.

Willie reportedly predicted that the show, which is hosted by his friends John Estrada and Randy Santiago, will have low ratings.

Last Saturday, Happy Yipee Yehey had a debut ratings of 5.1% as against Eat Bulaga's 12%. But it's already the 4th highest rating among daytime programs.

And for its first Monday episode, the new show had a terrible 3.8% rating which didn't even place in the Top 10. It ranked 11th.

But Willie shouldn't be rejoicing if the said ABS-CBN show didn't soar high in the ratings 'coz his own show isn't doing well lately during weekdays.

Last Friday, it ranked at the bottom, at #14. Then just last Monday, it's again out of the Top 10, ranking 12th, which was not the case during its first few weeks of airing.TOP 10 HIGHEST-RATED PROGRAMS

Tween Hearts Cutie: Derek Monasterio

GMA is introducing new faces on its upcoming youth-oriented program "Reel Love Presents: Tween Hearts", which premieres this Sunday, September 26, after Party Pilipinas.

And one of them is Derrick Llander Crimarco now Derek Monasterio, who's a mix of Filipino-Jamaican-Italian and a son of former sexy actress Tina Monasterio.

Derrick or Derek just turned 15 last month but already standing so tall at 5'10". He's got BIG potential!

In Tween Hearts, Derek plays Rick and is paired with another newbie Louise delos Reyes as Luisa.

Other Kapuso Tween Stars in Tween Hearts include Joshua Dionisio, Barbie Forteza, Jhake Vargas, Bea Binene, Krystal Reyes, Lexi Fernandez, Kierulf Raboy and Kristoffer Martin Dangculos.

Elmo Magalona tries acting in "Pilyang Kerubin"

Elmo Magalona, the 16-year-old son of the late Francis Magalona, will
make his acting debut on GMA 7's "Pilyang Kerubin".

In the said soap, Elmo will be in a love triangle with Barbie Forteza
and Joshua Dionisio.

He takes over the role originally for Jhake Vargas, who because has
issues against its director Andoy Ranay has been pulled out from the

With that, it marks the first time that a Barbie and Joshua show won't
be having Jhake. They all worked together in "Stairway to Heaven",
"Dear Friend" and "First Time".

"Pilyang Kerubin", which premieres June 7, also stars Eddie Garcia, Joel Torre, Raymart
Santiago, Lotlot De Leon, Paolo Contis, Jewel Mische, Ina Feleo (new
Kapuso) and Angelika de la Cruz, who for the first time is playing a
mother to a teenager.

Also a Party Pilipinas regular, Elmo is also set to appear in an indie
film "Mrs. Recto" with Regine Velasquez.
