Oscars 2010: 'The Hurt Locker' wins Best Picture

'The Hurt Locker' scored big during the 82nd Annual Academy Awards presented last night at the Kodak Theatre in Los Angeles, California. It won 6 out of its 9
nominations, including Best Picture and Best Director for Kathryn Bigelow who becomes the 1st ever female to win such award.

James Cameron's 'Avatar' may have snatched from 'Titanic' the All-Time #1 Boxoffice Hit honor, but it didn't match the record of 'Titanic' in the Oscars. 'Titanic' won 11 out of its 14 nods in 1997 while 'Avatar' only won 3 out of its 9 nominations.
