The twelve (12) official finalists for the Mister International Philippines 2009 search are yet to be announced, but as early as now, the said classy pageant is being hounded by a controversy, just one minor controversy I suppose.
Some of the comments in my previous post about Mister International Philippines 2009 are bothersome, because they're claiming that one of the applicants already has a guaranteed placement in the Top 12 and a sure-fire winner of the title.
I've talked to the pageant's national director Mike Lim and he denied such allegation.
He assures everyone that all applicants are being screened fairly and he himself is clueless with the outcome of the pageant.
Yes, I believe you Mr. Mike.

I've known Mike since the 2008 Mister International Philippines and I could attest how fair he was and will always be.
In fact, I asked him of his favorites for the title before the final show started, but unfortunately, his bets didn't win.
I even asked then about the final scores and he gamely sent me the tally sheet of the scores during the finals.
And there, I had known why Ian Porlayagan didn't win, simply because he scored so low during the interview portion.

Mike Lim is not Donald Trump.
The results during the finals will all depend on the judges and Mike has nothing to do with it.
So let's all think positive okay?

For now, here's an update of the poll for all the August applicants.
More than a thousand votes have already been cast and on top of them all is Franco Ramos with 10.34% of the total votes.
(Disclaimer: The poll results might be of great influence to the selection of the official finalists, however, it will still be subject to the screening committee's final discretion.)
