Billy Crawford to host Miss Earth 2008 finals night

International singing sensation Billy Crawford will be hosting the Grand Coronation Night of Miss Earth 2008 on November 9th at the Clark Expo Amphitheater in Pampanga, Philippines.

Billy, who happens to be a half-Filipino, half-American, is just fresh from hosting Pinoy Dream Academy Season 2, a popular reality talent search in the Philippines.

Last September, Billy was chosen as one of the Top 10 Centerfolds of Cosmopolitan Magazine.

For the third straight year, Miss Earth 2004 Priscilla Meirelles from Brazil will be co-hosting in the finals night of Miss Earth 2008 beauty pageant.

Meanwhile on Miss International 2008 finals, which is tonight, November 08, 2008, Miss International 1960 Stella Marquez de Araneta from Colombia will be one of the judges. Araneta is also the chairman of Binibining Pilipinas Charities, Inc. in the Philippines. Shall we expect Colombia and the Philippines in the Top 12?

Yes, there will be only 12 semi-finalists this year, unlike last year's Top 15.

But instead of two-runner ups, four runner-ups will be chosen this year.

Aside from the awards Miss Photogenic, Miss Friendship and Best in National Costume, a new award will be handed out tonight, the Miss Natural Beauty award.
