Pinoy Idol 2008 auditions

Pinoy Idol, formerly Philippine Idol, is set to premiere this 2008 on GMA 7.

Despite being a "new" Philippine Idol, originally from ABC 5, GMA does not recognize the previous one when it announced during its New Year's Eve party at the SM Mall of Asia that it's going to be the "first IDOL competition in the Philippines".

To those who are interested to join the said competition, catch these audition dates and venues:

January 17 at SM Entertainment Center in Cagayan De Oro
January 24 at SM Entertainment Center in Batangas City
January 31 at SM Entertainment Center in Iloilo City
February 7 at SM Entertainment Centre in Cebu City
February 14 at SM Entertainment Centre in Davao City
February 21 at SMX Convention Center, SM Mall of Asia in Manila
February 28 at the CSI Stadia in Dagupan City
March 6 at SM Entertainment Centre, Clark, Angeles City, Pampanga

Pinoy Idol will be hosted by Raymond Gutierres while judges include talent manager Wyngard Tracy, actor-singer-composer Ogie Alcasid and singer-actress Jolina Magdangal.
